About Dan
The Law Office Of Daniel Duckett opened in February 2012. Prior to starting his own firm, Dan was a shareholder at Wiggin & Nourie, P.A., where he practiced personal injury, criminal defense, administrative law and insurance defense. Prior to Wiggin & Nourie, P.A., Dan was a staff attorney with the New Hampshire Public Defender’s Office in Belknap County and Carroll County.
Dan helps his clients decide whether they should proceed to trial or if they can reach an out-of-court resolution in a cost-effective manner. His years of trial work allow him to properly advise clients of the risks of going to trial. He also has an advantage of having represented insurance companies prior to starting the practice. Using this prior experience, Dan is able to effectively represent injured clients against the huge insurance companies whose goal is to pay as little as possible to injured individuals.
Dan is also committed to his community. He is currently serving his second five-year term as a member of the New Hampshire Board for the Licensing and Regulation of Plumbers and is on the board of directors of Manchester East Little League (MELL). One of Dan’s passions is coaching baseball. In addition to being on the MELL Board, Dan has coached little league for over seven years, including State Tournament teams that compete in southern New Hampshire.
Professionally, Dan is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the New Hampshire Association for Justice and BNI.
